I am my Brother's/Sister's Keeper...

...and you?!

I know this song is so old but the lyrics are still more than true.

Alberto Adriano was brutaly mudered by three racists in 2000. One murder out of too many.

Keep on fighting.

Soulfood

"Hope to trust.
If not me,
in this world,
there's no soul around.
All my love,
is not enough.
Don't need much.
Just someone who loves me for me.

Don't wanna talk.
Don't wanna smile.
Don't wanna fail.
Don't wanna lie.

I am walking alone.

Sometimes I dont even feel like opening my mailbox.
And I don't even feel like answering my phone. (...)"

(PATRICE - Walking alone)

You stand still while the world keeps turning.

Let love flow like a river.

Bad World

How can we be happy and enjoy life knowing that in 90% of the world people are suffering?

What are my problems in one of the richest countries in the world compared to those from people living in hell on earth?

What can we do? Can we do anything at all?

I was talking with a refugee about this topic. She comes from Iran and is seeking for asylum here. Her answer was: "Be aware that you were born in one of the priviledged countries on earth, be thankful for the freedom you live in. Don't be arrogant about it."

I was deeply impressed by this answer.

But there is something we can do.

Political activism.
Solidarity.
Support Charity work.
Spread knowledge.
NGOs.
Support people in need.
Be thankful.

Let love flow like a river.

Lug und Trug

„1000 ganz legale Steuertricks“ vs. 1000 Tricks für Sozialhilfebezieher

Was stößt dir mehr auf? Was glaubst du schadet unserer Gemeinschaft mehr?

Pressure

When you grow up the weight on your shoulders gets heavier.
As a child your only dream was getting older and be able to buy your own stuff, live alone or go out as long as you want. Being an adult you find yourself in a position where you suddenly have responsibility. You go to work every day hoping you wont make a mistake, wont forget to do this and that and by the same time show your employer that you give your best because you know that there are at least 10 other persons who want your job. Is that what you where dreaming about when you were a child?
And then there is society telling you to be normal. What is NORMAL anyways? Is it normal that you cant sleep because work issues are on your mind making you feel nervous all the time? Is "normal" not to get ill and having a bad conscience when you stay home, having a perfect relationship without arguments and of course getting married in your mid twenties?

What is "to be free"? Does "free" mean you have enough money, a nice job without stress, having good friends, being loved, being able to do what you want?

Am I free?

My answer: Yes because I am loved and I truely believe thats the most important thing in life.

Let Love flow like a river.
