He was the leader of the Civil Rights Movement in the United States of America. Martin Luther King jr. stood out for fighting racial inequality through nonviolence.  For his achievements he got the Noble Peace Prize in 1964.

His famous speech I have a dream touched hearts all over the world and through his commitment Afro-American people got the right to vote and the racial segregation was abolished by law.

Martin Luther King got shot on 4th April 1968 after delivering his speech I've been to the mountaintop on 3rd April 1968. Some say he sensed that something is about to happen.

He was and still is an outstanding person in the history of all time.

I have a dream that his idea, his courage, his commitment and his love to the people will live on in every one of us. The fight is not over. Almost 50 years after his death the world is still not how he saw it in his dream.
So lets continue the combat and dont get tired of fighting the good fight.

I'm deeply impressed by him.

Let love flow like a river,

Susa

  1. A true revolution of values will soon look uneasily on the glaring contrast of poverty and wealth. With righteous indignation, it will look across the seas and see individual capitalists of the West investing huge sums of money in Asia, Africa and South America, only to take the profits out with no concern for the social betterment of the countries, and say: "This is not just." - MLK

Well, I don't know what will happen now. We've got some difficult days ahead. But it doesn't matter with me now. Because I've been to the mountaintop. And I don't mind. Like anybody, I would like to live a long life. Longevity has its place. But I'm not concerned about that now. [...] So I'm happy, tonight. I'm not worried about anything. I'm not fearing any man. - MLK
