Oury Jalloh
(* 2. Juni 1968 in Kabala; † 7. Januar 2005 in Dessau)
He was an asylum seeker in Germany burned to death in a prison cell in Dessau.
His hands and feet were chained.
The police officer killed him.
Those who should act in the right way showed us what injustice is.
Oury Jalloh, we will never forget your name.
It is disgusting that we still have these problems.
Fight racism.
“You have the audacity fi tell me that I exagerate
some a dem a try fi smack the black off my face
your leg a go shake when you know your neck a go break
you ain't in my shoes
don't know my truth, don't know my pain
you sit there and a wait and a witness my fate
it's him that spit at me, but it's you that I hate
due to our history we jus' cyaan't tolerate
that some discriminate against blood, colour or faith “
(Brothers Keepers; Patrice- will we ever know)
Let love flow like a river…
